Visa Corporate Events

Visa's Corporate Events division needed a website to provide access to critical company policies and departmental information related to meeting and event planning.

The primary objective was to promote awareness of planning protocols and to offer event planning information to the user that will result in streamlined internal business processes.

Developed a web-based application that guides the user to correctly follow corporate policy, and put event planning information at their fingertips.

An inclusive database of restaurants, meeting venues, and specialized services in the greater Bay Area is available. Important, and sometimes obscure event planning terms are clarified in an online glossary. In addition, the Intranet site provides a forum for posting reviews of local venues and event services.

The site provides all the information and communication documents necessary to successfully plan both on- and off-site corporate events.

Designed and produced the corporate intranet website with both static and dynamic content. Prepared conceptual creative composite designs and provided content development support. Programmed all static pages in HTML and worked with Cold Fusion programmer to design and integrate database functionality. Conducted extensive quality assurance efforts and provided maintenance training and site documentation.
