About

As a graphic designer, I have worked in many different capacities throughout all phases of the design development cycle—from initial research and analysis, through graphic design and the creative process, and finally production, both for print and web.

A a freelance designer, I have had the chance to work on a variety of projects, both for print and the web ranging from bookplates, print programs, web banners, to full websites.

Prior to leaving the corporate world, I spent three years as the sole in-house graphic designer for a software development firm. In this role, I had the responsibility for the conception, design, and production of all print and web creative projects, including the redesign and implementation of a new corporate website, quarterly newsletter, and all event graphics and presentations.

I've also spent several years working in marketing for a professional services firm, and over five years in visual communications for major retailers including Mervyns, the Discovery Channel, and Williams-Sonoma. This depth of experience provides insights and unique perspective into the strategy and design phases of a project.
